One of Ohmni robot's purposes is to serve the aging community and make them feel better by facilitating and improving their connection with the ones they treasure most.

Which is why we were excited to be at the Optimize Conference, where leaders and innovators from different areas including wellness, nursing, assisted living, and senior care around the world get together to share their best solutions to optimize aging.

The annual Aging2.0 Optimize 2018 Conference took place on November 14-15, 2018 in San Francisco, CA, and it was brought together by Aging2.0. The organization has hosted more than 300 events with volunteers from more than 50 Chapters worldwide to connect 15,000 people within 20+ countries and 150+ corporate Alliance members, with one single focus: to “supports innovators that are taking on the biggest challenges and opportunities in aging.”

The event was a success with captivating keynotes, valuable networking opportunities, exclusive market insights, and showcases of innovative products. Our CEO and co-founder Thuc Vu had the chance to showcase our Ohmni robot at the demo booth where it was extremely well received.

Discussions at the event centered around challenges in healthcare, as well as the changes in regulations and expectations within the senior care sector. According to Ned Semonite, our VP of Business Development, telepresence seems like the first step of robotics in this area, with the expectation that more robotic products that can help people to do everything else will be available soon.
