There were 63 exhibitors from 22 countries who gathered together to work on how we can improve the lives of the elderly. In the Interactive Experience Zone, we demonstrated how our robots keep seniors connected with their families.
We truly enjoyed the great connections with those who came to our booth and showed interest in our robots. “I can’t wait to have this robot for my mom… so I can check in and walk her around anytime!” one attendee enthusiastically told our team. For those who couldn’t visit us, we compiled the top three frequently asked questions from caregivers, influencers and investors below. Check them out!
- So tell me, what is this?
Our telepresence robots provide a shared experience that is fun, engaging, and spontaneous to solve the communication challenges of modern life.
All you need to do is place the robot in a senior’s home with access to the Wifi. With remote operation, you can visit your aging parents whenever you want.
- What is the difference between your robot and a video call like Skype or Facetime?
Our goal is to virtually provide companionship and care in a way that no existing tools can match.
Imagine that you live apart from your aging mother and desire to have more companionship with her. You can login to the website and control our robot remotely to have breakfast together in the kitchen or take a walk with her in the backyard, anytime, anywhere! Great moments should never be locked in just one room, right?
- Can I buy the robot now? Where?
At the Aging2.0 event, Health Care Assistance, the nation’s largest provider of in-home care, announced our partnership to develop robots that will improve the quality of life for seniors by combating isolation.
Families now can sign up for the pilot program via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
