Last week, our CEO and co-founder, Thuc Vu was invited as a speaker for a local meetup on Telehealth organized by Health Technology Forum, a group of more than 4000 worldwide experts in healthcare. The main goal of the group is to connect entrepreneurs with professionals who are solving problems associated with the current healthcare ecosystem to finally achieve an efficient and affordable care-giving for all.
A few years ago, our two co-founders Thuc Vu and Jared Go used to be roommates at Stanford, playing online soccer games against each other. Now they are teammates at OhmniLabs creating robots that work on enhancing people’s daiy life, especially the aging community.
Back to where it all began, they appeared at the KZSU Innovators 90.1 FM Radio Show of Stanford with host Tom Dioro, to trace their robotics journey starting from their Stanford’s dorm room.
Our Ohmni just had the chance to interact and show off its coolness with guests at the Content Pick-up Party 10.1 last week.
Content Magazine is a bi-monthly magazine which aims at articulating the innovative and creative culture at Silicon Valley by connecting the people, events, and businesses there. Their networking events and the magazine proved to be a great opportunity for our Ohmni to get exposed to the diverse community in the South Bay. And this is what they had to say about it in the magazine’s latest issue:
What a great way to kickoff 2018!
Last weekend we were invited to participate in Carnegie Mellon University's Silicon Valley Artificial Intelligence Summit.
Last week, IEEE Spectrum - the flagship electronic magazine of IEEE, the world’s largest professional organization dedicated to the greatest trends and developments in technology, engineering, and science, reviewed the Ohmni robot!!! And we are thrilled with their feedback about how easy Ohmni is ready to use for anyone, even when the person is non-tech savvy.
